A cidade pode parecer um refúgio improvável para a vida selvagem, mas são muitas as espécies que aqui encontram condições para sobreviver e criar descendência.Nas ruas, telhados e jardins da capital, do estuário do Tejo ao Parque Florestal de Monsanto, descobrimos a Natureza que vive à nossa porta e que passa, muitas vezes, despercebida.

As Lisbon has changed and grown over the past 3,000 years, the city has always prioritised the needs of its residents. Although it may seem an unlikely refuge for wildlife, many species have found the conditions they need to survive and raise their offspring. In the streets, rooftops and gardens of the Portuguese capital, from the wide Tagus estuary to the Monsanto Forest Park, we discover the nature that often goes unnoticed despite living on our doorsteps.
